Joseph has extensive experience handling the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of a wide variety of commercial properties. He also represents both landlords and tenants in retail, industrial, and office lease negotiations and advises clients in the resolution of commercial landlord-tenant disputes. Joseph has handled projects involving a diverse array of property types, ranging from apartment complexes, industrial warehouses, shopping centers, and office buildings to mixed-use properties, healthcare facilities, and raw land.
He also brings substantial in-house experience to his private practice, having previously worked as legal counsel for a publicly traded REIT that owns, operates, and develops a nationwide portfolio of upscale malls and shopping centers. This unique background enables Joseph to approach each transaction with a client-centric perspective by addressing potential issues before they materialize and developing practical solutions to efficiently and effectively achieve his clients’ goals.
Before attending law school, Joseph worked in Washington D.C. as an aide to U.S. Congressman John Campbell.
